Sheri Morris

Hi, my name is Sheri Morris and I look forward to working with you.  In 1999 I graduated with a masters degree in secondary education from Southern Utah University earning the coveted Pestalozzi Award. As a school teacher I worked with many students who struggled with varying degrees of emotional trauma. This not only affected their ability to learn, but it also affected their relationships both in and out of school. As a school teacher, I was very limited in what I was able to do for these students, so in 2019 I decided to pursue a second masters degree and become a Marriage and Family Therapist. In 2021, I fulfilled my dream and graduated Summa Cum Laude with an M. A. in the MFT program at Touro University Worldwide.  As a therapist, I now have the necessary credentials to work with clients and assist them in recognizing why they are stuck and helping them to become unstuck.

Recognizing insecure attachment patterns is a vital step towards helping clients on their journey towards healing and change. I recognize that my greatest education and training in the field of marriage and family therapy has come from my own personal experience of being a wife, a mother, and a grandmother.  I understand the issues that mothers are facing as they do their best to raise children in today's ever changing world.

  • Self - esteem
  • Boundaries
  • Isolation
  • Routines
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Goal Setting
  • Decision Making

And so many more... As a therapist, I understand that life can get hectic and that people are struggling to find balance in their lives.  As a client centered therapist, I work with clients in restoring balance by helping them to reclaim their divine identity and purpose. I firmly believe that we are all fellow travelers in life and I find great joy in helping others to reconnect with their blessings despite how heavy their burdens may appear.

“Don't you quit. You keep walking. You keep trying. There is help and happiness ahead. Some blessings come soon, some come late, and some don’t come until heaven; but for those who embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, they come. It will be all right in the end. Trust God and believe in good things to come.” - Jeffrey R. Holland
