Hello, my name is Kyana Aston, and am a Clinical Professional Counselor - Student. I attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas pursuing an M.S. degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I am passionate and inspired to work with diverse communities to acknowledge, address, and advocate for mental health awareness, ultimately creating an empathetic and positive impact. I aspire to advance the mental health field while implementing diverse perspectives while highlighting inclusion. I am interested in working with adolescents, adults, couples/marriages, and families to address and alleviate ongoing mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and grief. It is imperative to address and subsequently erase the stigma surrounding mental health awareness by providing and advocating for accessible mental health services for individuals enduring ongoing mental distress. Based on your preference, I am happy to meet you in person or through Teletherapy. I desire to assist, support, and encourage client progression and pursuit towards a more promising tomorrow. This pursuit can be daunting, but I hope the empathy, support, and comfort I will provide, can assist with your decision to embark on this journey with me.

$60 per session
Sliding scale available upon request

I am a student therapist and cannot accept insurance.
Payment
Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.
Cancellation Policy
For the initial session, a $25 fee will be charged if cancellation is not given to your therapist within 24-hours of the session start time. After the initial session, your therapist allows one (1) free missed session per year without the 24-hour notice. Please give a 24-hour cancellation notice to avoid being charged a full session fee for subsequent missed appointments.
