Wendy Ronovech

Hi, my name is Wendy. My goal is to help you flourish using powerful, evidence-based mindfulness practices.  If you are seeking peace and purpose in both your personal and professional life I can help you achieve this.  I offer one-on-one sessions teaching skills that help gain clarity, handle stress, develop self-compassion and sharpen essential leadership qualities.  We focus on the discovery of self, involving awareness of one’s inner thought patterns.  I can help you cultivate skills that enhance your capacity for emotional well-being and spur positive life changes.  The experiential exercises focusing on your thoughts, emotions, and sensations allow you to move from an anxious state into one of calmness and awareness.

I’ve spent twenty years in the healthcare field dedicating myself helping others live a healthier lifestyle. My passion is having an impact on peoples’ health and their daily well-being.  I’ve chosen the field of Mindfulness-Based Interventions and instruct both groups and individuals in various health care, university, business, and community settings.  I’m an enthusiastic spokesperson for well-being and recognized as thought leader in the fields of organizational development, health promotion, and mindfulness-based programs.  I hold an undergraduate degree in Healthcare Administration, Master’s degree in Health Education with a focus in Health Promotion, a Master’s Degree in the study of Industrial and Organizational Psychology with a focus in Human Resources as well as qualifications in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) from the University San Diego School of Integrative Medicine, Center for Mindfulness.

I believe mindfulness is the key for individual and organizational well-being.  My professional experience has been at the forefront of design, development, marketing, and management of UnitedHealthcare’s Disease Management, Health Education & Wellness and MBSR/MSC programs.  Additionally, I’ve instructed courses at The Caring Place (Cancer foundation of Nevada), College of Southern Nevada (CSN), University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and acted as a consultant for major corporations.  My continuous meditation practice and application of mindfulness teachings has offered insights and awareness to live a most authentic life and this has sparked my desire to share this amazing gift with others, leading to my partnership with the Healing with Grace Counseling Center.

The practice of mindfulness leads to a deeper organic relationship between body and mind.  The teachings show how to live more consciously, to live in the state of being instead of doing and gain insights to transform your life as you fully experience each moment.  Science is beginning to catch up with mindfulness, as a number of studies show how meditation and mindfulness can help rewire, reshape and mold the brain. This can improve our physical and emotional health, decrease anxiety and depression and even protect the brain from dementia. To schedule your first session with me, call or text our Counseling Center at (702) 716-0908 or click here.
