Shannon Lee

Clinical Professional Counselor - Intern

Shannon Lee

Hello, my name is Shannon Lee and I am a Clinical Professional Counselor - Intern.  I graduated with a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University.  My passion lies in understanding my clients as a whole - the inner workings and connections between the body and mind - to create the best version of themselves.  I work with children, adults, families, and couples and have experience with trauma, intergenerational trauma,  and a focus on the AAPI community.  I am open to seeing clients in person or via telehealth and can speak Indonesian as well.  I integrate a holistic approach with a multi-cultural lens as I understand that each person I will meet will be different from the next and I'd like to understand each person for the unique individual they are and provide appropriate care.

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and open environment for anyone to come in and feel like their life story, struggles, and concerns are heard with an open heart and mind.  Outside of the office, I enjoy spending my time finding new restaurants to try, cuddling with my pets, or playing video games.
