Neurofeedback training is health and fitness at the highest level.
Do you want to FEEL better, THINK better, WORK better, SLEEP better, LEARN better, REMEMBER or even PERFORM better?
You can! It all starts in your brain.
Some people throw medications at the brain (neurotransmitters), some go to therapists to get a load off their mind or hire a trainer to make them more active, but with Neurofeedback (also known as EEG Biofeedback) we can show you what your brain is doing and how to regulate and balance itself with no medications and no unwanted side affects. And when your brain is calmed, regulated, and stabilized, symptoms and issues begin to melt away, life becomes more manageable.
Neurofeedback is personal training for your brain, specifically designed for you because no two brains are alike. When you come in for your Brain Mapping Session, we put a special cap on your head that has sensors built into it giving us detailed measurements of the activity in every part of your brain. We can actually watch (and can show you) your brain in 3D on the screen and give it information through feedback to make its own adjustments and work better. In fact, people usually experience some benefit within the first couple of sessions. Most clients see measurable improvement in 10 sessions when compliant with appointments and supplementary life coaching recommendations.
How can that be? How does it work?
Here’s the scientific explanation:
Mental states can be “defined” by the EEG.
Certain brainwave patterns correspond to common disorders or syndromes.
Both animals and humans can learn to alter their brainwave pattern(s) by means of operant conditioning with EEG biofeedback.
Both animals and humans show changes in behavior when they have learned to change their brain wave frequency patterns by means of operant conditioning.
Brain mapping using 19 active electrodes can help distinguish psychiatric syndromes
Brain maps using 19 active electrodes can demonstrate communication patterns between different parts of the brain. Statistical comparisons may demonstrate too little or too much communication between areas of the cortex. This is especially useful in head trauma, stroke, brain surgery cases, etc.
Once we take an in-depth look at the Brain Mapping results, the next step is to do training that normalizes the EEG. This action step often results in resolution/relief of symptoms and issues caused by underlying brain wave disregulation.
This is a top-down approach to health and wellness, taking it to the highest level to the brain.
